* I've had a few different healing classes, priest has always been my favorite. As for the specific priest spec I just prefer holy over disc even with the CoH nerf.
* I've raided 10 man naxx, sarth, and maly. As for 25 mans I've done sarth and 3 wings in naxx.

* Have a lvl 80 DK (mostly for pvp) and a lvl 80 holy pally which is basically just for farming.

* I know a couple of people in the guild and like your raid times and progression.

But it's really the first time I've actually had time to sit down and get my thoughts in order.

So, I haven't been online on any of my characters in, what, 2 months? Longer? Yeah. Right after Wrath came out and I got my DK to level 71, I took a break for a few days because I was sick of leveling. Then my dad's mother and sister-in-law decided, hey! this would be a fantastic time to die. So, that was awesome. This was also at the same time that my little sister (whom I'm extremely close to) was going through some really tough times with school, etc.

On top of all this, my dog died the day before I started final exams. Then winter break was nuts, since my entire mom's side of the family was at my house, and all my friends from home decided to make it so I had no free time. Okay, sob story/emo time over.

And now I've been back to school for a couple weeks, and this semester is just piling on the work - I already have an exam tomorrow and a lab report due the next day, plus an exam next week, and another lab report the week after that (and then another exam). This combined with the fact that now I'm dating a girl who goes to the same school I do, instead of a school 600 miles away, has led to a situation where I don't have much time to game anymore, let alone play WoW for hours on end.

2) I've been in Champions of Light and Aggromaniacs and raided pre-wotlk. I've been with TRIPLE X since a couple months before wotlk.
3) I left other guilds because i was forced to have my raiding times changed with school, etc. I want to leave triple x because i don't feel like we're progressing or raiding as much as id like to.

I might be in my dps gear. I spec elemental occasionally when i don't have to raid.

8) I really like healing as a shaman and usually find myself topping the meters and if i'm not then it motivates me to do better.
9) I raided most 25 mans in BC and cleared both Kara and ZA multiple times as resto. I've cleared naxx 10 man, arachnid and plague quarter in heroic naxx, 10 man OS, heroic OS and tried a Malygos pug but only got him to about 40% health.
10) If i am accepted to guild i will be a healer who is mature, skilled with most raid bosses, can top healing meters and make raid times.
11) I think i'd be a great addition to OoD, if i am accepted. Yous really won't regret having me:D

One of the things discussed at the last officer's meeting was eligibility for loot on 25man raids. There's a limitation of the EPGP loot system that someone new has a top priority rating until they get their first item.

It really isn't fair for someone new to show up on their first 25man raid and get 1 or more highly desirable items immediately, without having proved themselves to be a raider first.

So, we decided to set a minimum EP of 6000 to competitively declare need. This number is equivalent to 2 full Naxx clears, which really isn't too difficult to earn. We may adjust this number at some point depending on how things work out.

The EPGP addon will automatically sort all people with less than the minimum below all people above the minimum. This means that people below the MinEP can still declare need, but they'll only win an item if no one above the minimum needs it as an upgrade.

This will go into effect immediately.

On a separate, but related, note: Because tanking druids spend a significant portion of their time dpsing for the benefit of the raid, they will get first grabs on offset dps gear. So it's still main gear set upgrades first at full GP price, then tanking druids for offsets at offset prices, then everyone else for offsets at offset prices.

1) Student at ETSU, I like wow, more than half my guild has taken a break/gquit to GQUIT/quit playing wow. I like to raid and pvp alot and logging on to wipe constantly in heroics is not enjoyable.
2) Resto, I like healing. I have a dps and tank alt. This was my 2nd toon and my main now.
3) Cleared all but maly 10man, 3 quarters in 25man and haven't got maly.
4) Taloran, Kalithresh
5) I'm a good healer, I like to think I'm one of the best shamans on the server, I could be wrong though. I like to have fun and raid, so I'm pretty dedicated to my class and actively read up on how to be the best.
6) I have played with Safiyaa and his many alts and have raided Gruuls and BT once a piece with you all. You all are pretty fun and more serious than my previous guild, so it maybe a better fit for me.
7) I am a beast. Oh, and if my armory has me in my pvp gear, I'm on most of the time so just whisper me and ill run a heroic or whatever/show you my gear. I play on Kalithresh if I'm not on Ach.

My internet is down until I can scrounge up the fundage to throw at embarq and make 'em happy.
