Blizzcon09

Hey everyone. Just got back from Blizzcon this weekend. I'm sure a lot of you having been already been reading about the announcements made there, but I thought I'd post a few things I saw/learned there.

They said they sold 20,000 tickets to Blizzcon, so it was very crowded. I was expecting more third-party vendors/booths than there were. I'm not sure if Blizzard limits it, or if there just weren't any other companies interested.

I'd like to take a moment to express my admiration at the true creativity and originality of the 3,000 or so people who were wearing a Blizzcon shirt (not exaggerating). I'd estimate about 2/3rds of the attendees were wearing a t-shirt of some sort, most of them not funny or creative. Everyone was very, very pale. The lights in the building were set very low, and I concluded it must have been to make everyone feel more comfortable, as I'm sure it emulated their normal living environment.

How to PvE dps as a feral druid

If you've never PvE'd as a feral druid you probably won't find this as funny but for those who do this is a simplified
(and funny) version of how to dps.

I didn't make this but I wish I did.

KOLOGARN WILL STOP YOU!

Yogg-Saron: Okay, so this whole plan is going pretty well. I've gunked up a tree in Grizzly Hills, I've enslaved the Keepers of Ulduar, and I've set up an impassable ravine between my inner sanctum and the outside world, so nobody can get in to stop me.

Kologarn: AND I WILL STAND IN IT.

Yogg-Saron: Seriously not necessary, K-Garn. I've got that whole thing under control. Check out the map. It says that's "The Shattered Walkway." It used to just be "The Walkway." Until I shattered it. No walkway, no progress. Pure effin' genius.

Kologarn: AND THAT IS WHERE I WILL SQUEEZE THE LIFE OUT OF THEM.

Yogg-Saron: No, dude. You don't need to go there at all. You can pretty much just take the week off. Maybe meet some ladies. I can't even remember the last time you hooked up.

Kologarn: NONE SHALL PASS.

Yogg-Saron: Well, that's the point of a huge ravine. So I don't really need your help.

Kologarn: I CAN CRUSH AN ARMORED TAUREN IN MY POWERFUL STONE GRIP.

Yogg-Saron: Yeah, but the tauren can't get over the ravine anyway. And it will be extra funny, because they could totally get over the ravine if they could use their flying mounts, but flying mounts are disabled in Ulduar. That will make them crazy. See, that's what I do.

Kologarn: WITH MY OVERHEAD SMASH, I CAN MAKE THE EARTH SHAKE. MY FOCUSED EYEBEAMS TURN MY VERY RAGE INTO LAZERS.

Battlefront - 80 Balance Druid

Previous Guild: GQuit for about 4-5 months

Reason for Leaving: I left GQuit because when I returned from vacation the guild was disbanded because of some drama or some such thing. So since most of my former guildies transferred to OoD I would enjoy playing with them again.

Current Spec: My current spec is balance mostly because as I've tried both feral and restoration, balance was the spec which appealed most to my play style.

Availability: I am available most evenings of the week(with the exception of Friday and Saturday so that I can maintain some sort of social life outside of Warcraft).

Armory Page: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Undermine&n=Battlefront

Age: 16

I am an active player of a balance druid who has raided for multiple months. I went on vacation a few weeks after Ulduar was released but I have learned the fights and have experience raiding up to Thorim. I was directed to Order of Diligence by other Guildies to whom I am friends with and would like to raid with again.

Thank you for your time,
Barry Jessome
