First of all, please offer your congratulations (or condolences) to Plateface/Talt, our newest GM!

In anticipation of The Wrath of the Lich King expansion, the officers have been working on some changes to the guild. We've decided to make The Order of Diligence a hardcore raiding guild, as high-end raiding is where we've been focusing the majority of our energy.

To that end, the guild rules have been significantly rewritten. I strongly suggest everyone read them. Most notably, the loot system has been changed to the EPGP system with added requirements for raiding and loot eligibility. Also, all accumulated points have been reset to zero.

From this point forward, we want competent, full-time raiders. If you can't make 2 or more raids per week, if you are perpetually late or disorganized, if you can't follow instructions/strategies, or if you are unwilling/unable to commit to helping the guild progress, then you will be less likely to join us on raids.

We don't want to be jerks about it, but we are very tired of the people who unfairly benefit off the hard work of others, intentionally or unintentionally. The new rules are quite fair, and proportionally reward the effort one puts in.

As a special added note, I'm sure a lot of people will be creating shiny new Death Knights. Enjoy it on your own time. You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. Just like with every other class, we will limit how many Death Knights can be on any given raid. If your gear/spec/skill sucks, you won't get to raid. You have been warned.
