Welcome to our new members from Gquit. We're happy to have you with us, and we hope you'll enjoy it here in OoD.

We'll sort out raid roles and ranks over the next couple of weeks. Right now, 'gquit' is in your public note. We'd like to replace that with your main spec. Any officer can update it. We assume that some people will be changing around their main specs in the short term as we get things figured out (both us and former Gquit people), so don't stress about it initially.

I suggest you read the Rules section on this website at some point. I figured I'd put together a short summary here to help you get started.

No Drama.
Need (main gear set upgrades) before Greed (offsets).
Mains before Alts.
Come to raids on time and prepared.
Omen (or compatible threat meter) and Deadly Boss Mods are required for raids.
Raids begin at 11:55pm Sunday through Thursday. Invites start at 11:40pm.

We use EPGP, which is a type of DKP. The short version is: Raiding more increases your Priority for receiving loot, Taking loot lowers your Priority for receiving loot. You can read about and download it from: http://code.google.com/p/epgp/ You do not need it installed for the system to work, but it is helpful to have it installed to understand how it works and to see the costs of items.

Buying items from the guild bank and reselling them for profit is prohibited, as is buying mats to level a tradeskill. The guild bank is intended to help us improve our characters and make us better raiders. Items from the guild bank cost 1/2 their approximate AH value, with a few exceptions. All flasks are 12.5g each, Potions of Speed/Wild Magic are 1g each. The first tab is pay what you will, or exchange for other items. Some of what's on the last tab is reserved.
