There's a good chance that patch 3.3 an Icecrown Citadel will come out tomorrow.

I would strongly suggest updating all your addons TODAY, as curse, wowace, wowinterface, etc will be slow and/or down on patch day. Also, fill a bag with raiding supplies.

We don't know exactly how the raid content will be released, but supposedly it will have to be unlocked, which means we will start raiding it as it becomes available. Raid schedule will be adjusted on the fly more than usual to account for this, and to give us as many shots at killing things as possible.

If you have been absent for the past few weeks/months, do not expect an automatic raid invite. The people who have been consistently raiding, maximizing their gear/skills, will have priority invites. Also, class balance when building raids will be more careful than usual. This is new, difficult content, and we'll need every advantage we can get to kill bosses.

This happens every content expansion. People come out of the woodwork and demand a raid spot. I'm sorry, but we won't be able to get everybody in every raid. Where were you when we needed you for Yogg3 or Heroic Tcrus? You can't just show up for only the shiny new content or the easy loot content, and refuse to support the guild in farming the mundane content or the difficult content. The reason we're able to raid the shiny new content is BECAUSE we farmed the mundane content and the difficult content so we would be prepared as possible for the new stuff when it comes out.
