Jrz - Prot Pally - 80 - Blackwing Lair
Character: Jrz
Previous Guild: Programmed to be Awesome, Blackwing Lair
Reason for leaving: This is actually my alt character who I have been trying to switch to my main for some time now, but unfortunately my current guild has no need whatsoever for tanks. I'm looking for a guild that I can be a part of and help out in 25 ICC progression on my paladin. And your raid times are perfect as I will always be home in time for them and my mains raids will be over well before we start.
Current Spec: 53/18
Availability: As stated above I will be able to maintain a 100% attendance because your raid times are exactly what I'm looking for.
Armory: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Blackwing+Lair&n=Jrz
Age: 19 years old
Addition Information:
About me: I'm currently a student in a local community college. I've heard that I'm fun to have around I bring a positive attitude and I always manage to keep people smiling :)
Reasons for class and spec: Well I originally leveled this toon as a filler (prot/holy) for my current guild as we had some attendance issues but those now seem to be in the past and I've grown a huge liking to tanking on my paladin. My current tanking spec is the optimal paladin tanking spec for maximizing survivability/mitigation while also maximizing threat output.
Glyphs (not required but I feel adding them can't hurt :)):
Glyph of Divine Plea- Shouldn't have to explain this one haha, 3% reduced damage with 100% up time with talent. If anyone isn't using this then shame on you. :)
Glyph of Seal of Vengeance- 10 more expertise to maximize threat output.
Glyph of Judgement- Recently just switched to this one since I am now over the taunt hit cap. To push out even more threat.
Experience: While I haven't had much tanking experience, I've tanked some bosses in 10/25 Ulduar, tanked all bosses in 10/25 ToC, as well as 4/5 10 ToGC, and 4/12 25 ICC and 7/12 10 ICC. I've had more experience on my mage as far as Putricide and Sindragosa go, so I know these fights aswell.
Applicable alts: None.
What you can bring to the guild: What I can bring is a positive attitude while doing progression fights. I never get involved with any drama, as I am hoping that you guys have none to begin with. :) Also, I bring knowledge of my class and learning new boss fights that I have yet to encounter, as well as help out with strats to help us on progression fights. I'm fairly new to tanking, but I find it to be the easiest thing to pick up on in the game as long as you're alert.
How did I hear about OoD and what lead me to apply: I came across the guild on the recruitment forums and your raiding time couldn't be more perfect to fit my schedule. And after talking to Faelyn for a bit I decided to apply to see what kind of responses I could draw, and find out if your guild and my paladin are a good fit.
Extra: I've looked through your guild rules and they seem to be very organized and you guys also appear to not put up with any of the non-sense that I wouldn't tolerate as well. As far as your ranks go, I have no doubt in my mind that I will reach the "Raider" rank as soon as my two week trial is complete. As well, I am always prepared with my own food buffs as well as flasks. While I have no experience with your current loot system, but it looks interesting and has clearly worked for you guys so far.
